Bunratty U13s Girls v Bridge Utd

The 13s girls welcomed Bridge Utd to Woulfe Park for what would turn out to be a very tight affair.

The first 20 minutes proved to be a physical battle culminating in the Bridge taking the lead via a superb through ball and tidy finish into the bottom corner. Bunratty would create many of their own chances throughout the half, the pick of the bunch being an Emma Jones freekick from a tight angle that came close.

The second half restarted the physical battle, with a strong defence of Lara Magee, Lucy Lohan, Grace McNamara and Kate Kearney providing a solid base for Caoilinn Early and Faye Harrington on the counter. Goalkeeper Abbie O'Gorman performed a stint alongside Sophie Doherty in the centre of the park, and more than matched up to the hard battle. The equaliser would finally arrive through Caolinn Early on the break

Avenue Red v Bunratty U9 Blues/Avenue Yellow v Bunratty U9 Blacks

Both U9 squads made the trip to Roslevan to take on a pair of Avenue sides, great work and plenty of goals for the lads!
