The Clare District Soccer League AGM took place tonight at the Auburn Lodge Hotel. There was a contest for Chairman where Oliver Fitzpatrick defeated Donal Kirby. There was a contest for FAI Junior Council Delegate where Donie Garrihy defeated Jim Madden. There was a contest for PRO where Derek Dormer defeated Jim Madden. Mike McInerney was elected vice president which will make him the 5th president of the CDSL at next years AGM. There was a number of newly elected positions with Tony Downey the new Treasurer; Kieran McManus the new Youth Liaison Officer/Child Protection Officer; Leonard Meaney elected Women's Football Officer and Gerard Kelly elected to a committee position. Ronnie Pyne, Michael Lydon, Jason Ryan, Thomas Leahy and Alan McCoy were returned unopposed.

The position of Fixtures Secretary will be filled at a later date.
There was one rule change:
Rule 68 (b) Any club entering a second team must have a minimum of 16 players registered with the A team at all times. This was an increase from 14 players in the old rule.
